Maggie Grace is an American actress born Margaret Grace Denig in 1983. Her most well-known roles are Shannon Rutherford, a character in ABC's Lost series and Kim Mills from the Taken trilogy. She was born in Worthington in Ohio. She was kicked out of school when her parents divorced to go in Los Angeles to live with her mother. It was a struggle to make ends meet and was offered her first role in acting in Rachel's Room's main character. In 2002 she was nominated to receive a Young Artist Award with her role as 15-year old murdered Martha Moxley. Grace Rutherford was the lead actress in Lost for its first two seasons. In 2004, she was awarded the Screen Actors Guild Award with all the cast. Grace left the television series in 2005 to focus on an even more prominent role in films, having appeared in the film Taken alongside Tom Welling as Kim Mills in Taken.
