Emma
Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson is the daughter of British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby (born in Paris) as well as Chris Watson (born in Paris). When she was only five her family moved to Oxfordshire and attended at the Dragon School. Emma was six years old when she made the decision to make it as an actress. She trained for several years at Stagecoach Theatre Arts, a Part-time theatre school located in Oxford where she was taught acting and singing. When she was 10 Emma was a participant in multiple Stagecoach Productions as well as school plays. In 1999 casting began to cast Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2001) the film adaptation of British writer J.K. Rowling's bestselling novel. Emma was identified by casting agents thanks to Emma's Oxford theatre teacher. After eight consistent auditions the producer David Heyman told Emma and the other candidates Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint they were cast as the three lead characters Hermione Granger Harry Potter and Ron Weasley. The movie's release Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001) was Emma's debut on the screen in cinema. The film broke all records on opening day and weekend revenues, and it also became one of the top 2001 films. The film has been praised by critics for its film as well as the performances given by three of the main young actors. The Daily Telegraph, a frequently read British paper, praised her for her impressive performance. Emma's performance won her a nomination and won five awards later in the film.
